Relocating is not simply a matter of finding a home and moving in. Everything should be carefully choreographed so that all the pieces fall into place at the appropriate time; the right house in the right area, the best school or childcare, and all the government regulations that have to be met. Visas, if necessary, will have to be organised, banking, mortgage, Medicare, social insurance, new driver’s licenses have to be arranged and all this whilst you try to find your bearings in a new city, perhaps country.
